Description

Included in Substitute House Bill 110, the state budget bill for state Fiscal Years 2022-2023, Ohio Revised Code (ORC) 122.6512 created the Building Demolition and Site Revitalization Program to be overseen by the Ohio Department of Development (ODOD). The purpose was to provide nearly $150 million in grant funding for the demolition of commercial and residential buildings and the revitalization of surrounding properties. This program does not include brownfield sites. For more information on funding for brownfield sites, please visit the ODOD website for the Brownfield Remediation Program, created as part of the same legislation.

Within each county, a lead entity must be established. In counties where a land bank has been established, the land bank shall be the lead agency. 

As the lead entity for Summit County, the Summit County Land Bank (SCLB) has established this program portal for Project Submissions to the ODOD.
